About Us
The Franklin Symphonic Council had its early beginnings as the Franklin Women's Committee of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO). From this beginning, in 1997, the Franklin Symphonic Council was formed, and in 2001 became a tax-exempt entity. Throughout the organization’s history, its mission has been to encourage music education and sponsor musical events in the local community, while still maintaining its annual support of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
